Many different types of geographical information systems (GIS) are used today to manage the local population, housing market and economic activity. The use of GIS has been applied to manage the local population by mapping population and other characteristics of geographical areas. This allows for better management of resources and population planning. This is done by collecting and analyzing geographical information and demographic information.figure 1 uses the 2021 census data of the whole population of Englewood Colorado for aulia with a population data set of all the places in the greater region. figure 2 uses the Englewood population information for aulia for a side by side comparison of the population change/growth estimates for the last five year periods and demonstrates a steady increase of 4,04 (14%). The complete Englewood Colorado greater region population change for all places in the greater region for the five year periods 2021 to 2021 is presented in figures 3 and it depicts a population increase of 14%. The last five-year period shows a much steeper population increase in Englewood than any other period over the past 25 years.figure 4 displays the unemployment rates for every geographic area in the state of Colorado.
It also compares the rate of non-citizens that are employed in the United States and in other countries. There is a high concentration of non-citizens in Weld County compared to Weld County itself. It is ranked fifth among counties in the state of Colorado and eighth overall.figure 5 reports that the number of lodging facilities has dropped by twenty-three percent from the last five years to this year. The report ranks sixth for its lodging facilities in the entire state of Colorado. Figure 6 ranks seventh for its lodging facilities. It has one of the largest proportions of hotels in the entire greater region.figure 7 reports that the number of single-family residences is up in the area with the largest concentration of population growth in the United States. This figure compares favorably to the national average of just thirty-one percent.
The number of condos that are for sale is also up at a higher rate than the national average. It ranks eleventh overall in the state of Colorado.figure 8 reports that the city of Englewood is the only larger city being with a higher median age than Fort Collins. It is ranked ninth overall for its age of the people. It has one of the largest proportions of homeowners who are thirty-five or over, it is ranked eleventh for its percentage of homeowners who are fifty-five or over. The figures come from a study conducted by the University of Colorado at Denver, which measures the various factors which impact the real estate market as related to population aging.
